Customer Service Supervisor
Summary
Powerex is looking for an enthusiastic team player and an advocate for excellent internal and external customer service. Key Job Functions/Duties
- Enter orders for industrial customers into our ERP system
- Work with outside sales and management on quoting activities including the creation and submittal of quotes for customers
- Respond to all requests for information about products, pricing, and lead times in a timely manner
- Pull together and submit required documentation such as Buy America Certs and NAFTA paperwork
- Identify opportunities for public bids and sign up to receive notifications via email
- File paperwork as needed
- Interact with Operations, Engineering, and Sales regarding order status, quality issues, and all other special requests and relay information back to customer
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience Required
- HS Diploma required
- A BS/BA undergraduate degree is preferred
- 1-5 years of Inside Sales or Customer Service experience is preferred
- Experience working with or selling technical products is preferred
- Experience with automotive industry customers is preferred
- Experience with compressed air or vacuum systems is preferred
- Excellent time management skills are a necessity
- Detail oriented – complimented by excellent follow up skills
