VacuGuard+

The VacuGuard+ is a factory-integrated automated system designed to maintain medical vacuum oxygen levels below the NFPA 99 mandated 23.6% threshold. Using a PLC, a 10-year zirconium-oxide sensor, and a solenoid valve, the unit monitors and dilutes excess O₂ automatically without manual intervention. Mitigation cycles are carefully managed to always prioritize facility vacuum pressure, ensuring patient-side performance is never compromised. To simplify compliance, the system logs data every ten seconds to provide a high-resolution time history for annual reporting. Finally, an integrated dry-contact relay provides immediate notification to master alarm panels if oxygen concentrations reach the alarm limit.
